The Humane Society of the Black Hills has several events either scheduled or in planning for 2017. Several events are sponsored by other organizations to benefit the Humane Society of the Black Hills and are listed here.

2017 Events that Benefit the Humane Society

Paw Painting, June 24, 2017, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Paw Painting @ Pottery 2 Paint. Donations from the event will be directed to HSBH. Volunteers from the humane society will be at the event to paw print some of our adoptable animals and enjoy the afternoon.

Picnic, June 24, 2017, 11 a.m.: Dacotah Federal Credit Union has selected HSBH as its 2017 recipient of donations of funds and items from their annual picnic. The picnic is open to credit union members and non-members; however, non-members are asked to make a small donation to the Humane Society of the Black Hills.

Dog Wash, Saturday, July 15, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We’re holding a dog wash at the Humane Society, 1820 East St. Patrick Street. It will be a fun day! Get your dog washed, buy a raffle ticket for a unique item. Donations are encouraged!

Adoption Event, Petsmart, July 22, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
We’ll be at the Petsmart by Kohl’s for a 3-hour adoption event with dogs and cats. Stop by and say hello and find your new best friend!

Wags & Waves, August 27, 2017, noon to 3 p.m.: Jimmy Hilton Pool, Sioux Park. Date is set, more information to follow.

Aging Gracefully Expo, Saturday, Sept. 23, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
The Humane Society of the Black Hills will have a booth at the event with an adoptable dog and several cats.

Woofstock Music Festival, Date TBD
The HSBH Woofstock music festival features regional bands, open mic sessions, local vendors, arts and crafts, and games for people and dogs alike!
