The Humane Society believes in providing a safe and secure experience for all of our clients. We provide only the most stringent of security measures available on the Internet. We want you to feel comfortable that personal information such as your name, address, and credit card number will be kept safe throughout your entire affiliation with the Humane Society. It is our policy to never send private information, such as your credit card number, via email.

The Humane Society does not rent, sell or exchange information about our clients. We gather only client information that is needed to administer Humane Society business and provide superior customer service for our own marketing and promotional purposes.

The Humane Society limits access to client information to those employees who provide customer service through our Development Department only. Employees are trained on Humane Society policies and practices regarding safeguarding client information; preventing its unauthorized access, use or disclosure; and, ensuring its proper handling. That is why we go to such great lengths to guarantee the security of all credit card transactions. You can feel safe donating through our online server. All of our credit card transactions are placed in a secured folder which will be accessed by one person in our Development Department. The Society guarantees that your online transaction will be secure, and that your credit information will be protected.

Returns

Memberships and donations are considered charitable contributions and are

non-refundable. All pet licenses are non-refundable.

Methods and Delivery

Purchases, including pet licenses, are available for pick up at the Humane

Society, 1820 Saint Patrick Street, Rapid City, SD 57703, or you may request

items be mailed via US Postal Service by including an additional 50 cents per

item.
